| The only public transport to/from Cheung Chau is ferries run by First Ferry, The main ferries are to/from the Outlying Islands Piers (Pier 5) in Central. From here, you can catch two types of ferry: large, regular ferries that take around an hour, and "fast" ferries taking around 35 minutes. Schedule There's also a ferry service - always a (small) slow ferry! - between Cheung Chau and Peng Chau, stopping en route at Mui Wo on Lantau and, less often, at Chi Ma Wan to the south of Mui Wo.
