On 19 May - unluckily, the first day of the Bun Festival proper - storms swept into Cheung Chau from the west. Dramatic, especially as the first thunderstorm arrived, bringing sudden transition from calm, to lashing wind and rain.
Here's some video I shot, as Severe Tropical Storm Kammuri passed near Hong Kong (with Cheung Chau affected by among the strongest winds, to storm force as I shot some of this) earlier this month.
