Shops n supermarkets

is there such a thing as a yellow pages for cheung chau? or a local publication with adverts for local shops &c?  i want to furnish my house and buy accoutrements and half of me wants to go all-ikea, the other half wants to ferret around in local shops, but i'd prefer to have some information first.  thoughts?

So, Japan Home has been and gone - surely to the relief of various local shops selling a range of items for use in the home.

The building is now empty, and for rent.

When I first came, Park n Shop was here. Later, left to move elsewhere on the island.

Can't remember what happened between then and Japan Home - was it the fancy tea shop that opened for short time?

Unsurprisingly, video rental stores on the island don't have wide range of DVDs with English-language movies/tv shows. Can be plenty of VCDs, but I prefer to watch without subtitles, and enjoy better sound on DVDs.

I've become used to finding rather motley selections of movies: some box-office hits, but some movies that strike me as rather dire.
But, just a chance things may be looking up a little?
